Operation conducted at BRTA office, Noakhali

ACC hotline-106 today 11.09.2022 in view of a complaint received against the officer of BRTA office, Noakhali regarding the demand of bribe in the name of getting customer's driving license. A four-member enforcement team from Tarikh ACC, Szeka, Noakhali conducted the operation.

During the operation, the truth of the complaint team appeared on the ground in disguise at the Noakhali BRTA office. In an anonymous investigation, the team found that the BRTA office had no mechanism for service-related complaints, not even a register to record complaints, and there was no direct information exchange between the BRTC office and the BRTC office. As a result, the concerned officer informed the enforcement team that BRTA has limited the opportunity to provide direct service regarding the issue of driving license by BRTC instructor in exchange of bribe. In addition, BRTA uses BRTC grounds for training. The complaint of the said department concerned officer was not found in the office. The team will submit their report with recommendations in the light of the information received about the mismanagement and irregularities in today's operation.
