North Sonapur Railway of Noakhali district raided on charges of land grabbing

Today 18.09.2022 in view of a complaint received on ACC hotline-106 regarding construction of multi-storied building by illegally occupying railway land. A four-member enforcement team from Tarikh ACC, Szeka, Noakhali conducted the operation. During the operation, the team found the truth of the allegations. The team visited the site related to the construction of multi-storied buildings occupying Khas land of North Sonapur Railway in Noakhali district. A person named Ali Hussain took lease of a railway land for agricultural work but he himself stayed abroad. On his behalf, his younger brother and brother-in-law are constructing a multi-storied building by piling on that special land. The team has been informed that the responsible officials of the Railway State Department are assisting in the said work. During the operation, some neighboring lands were leased from the railway and the lessees constructed various structures including buildings in violation of the conditions. The team will submit a report to the commission for taking appropriate action in this regard.
